Suzy Ramel
Voice & Piano Instructor
Suzy loves being a New Song teacher! She teaches voice, piano and guitar. She is a classroom general music teacher and also teaches voice and piano lessons throughout the Chicagoland suburbs. She is dedicated to growing the musical skills of each student as a unique individual. Miss Suzy customizes lessons made to lead your student to perform their personal best. She was recently seen on PBS special "A Christmas Carol: The Concert" during 2013 and 2014 holiday seasons. She also performs regularly with the Ed Wagner Lustige Blaskapelle Polka Band as their lead singer.
Matthew Ramel
Piano, Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone Instructor
Matthew has performed at IMEA collegiate demonstrations as well as Orchestra Hall. He was also part of a Clarinet quartet that played at the annual Clarinet Collaborations Chicago located at Northeastern Illinois University. Mr. Ramel has taught globally.
For two weeks he traveled to a variety of schools in Montego Bay Jamaica. He performs regularly with the Ed Wagner Lustige Blaskapelle Polka Band on clarinet.
Leslie Weinzettel
Piano Instructor
Originally from San Diego, CA, Leslie Royalty attended Wheaton College and then moved to Jacksonville, FL where she worked for a non-profit Christian organization for the past five years. She recently returned to the Wheaton area and has joined the New Song Music team as a piano teacher! Leslie began playing piano at the age of 5 and has participated in numerous music teams and choirs throughout her life. Her passion for music has led to her desire to help children discover and develop their own unique musical abilities. Through creative and experiential teaching methods, Leslie seeks to impart solid music theory and technique while ultimately fostering within each child the true joy of music!
